Regarding the price setting, from threads on here and at yuplay I'm led to believe that its Sony that set the price, yet when I look at the EU PSN blog for this weeks update I see a comment from who I believe is the PSN Store manager in reply to someone who complains that the fallout dlc is too expensive :

Again, WE do NOT create the prices for 3rd party content, therefore we are NOT ripping you off.
So, who exactly does set the prices for these dlc packs?

Publishers. Still, I can hardly imagine it was just up to the publishers to set a higher price on the PSN than XBL.

The PS3 disc sold for $50,($60 is the prevailing price for PS3) did the xbox
version sell at a similar reduced price?

Perhaps the publisher wants to make up some of the cost for the blu-ray disc.
Or, bandwidth costs for the upcoming patch.

Bandwidth costs for the dlc can't be offered as a reason, it's not big enough
to justify an additional $5.

I am not a " one ".

I would actually like to know, is the xbox version at the highest price point,
or is it lower?

It's lower than the usual newly released games, if that's what you meant.

Well I guess the publisher has no excuse, other than the fact that they
believe PS3 users will pay more(which I did).

I'm not complaining, if I didn't want to pay that much I would have waited
to see if the price dropped.
