As it is the "landing brakes" on the control pad are simply just keep the throttle held down :) thus braking.

Well with a joystick when the throttle is at 0% it doesnt active a brake etc so slowing down is a long and scary process lol.

I've lost count of how many famers fields i've ploughed into because i've run out of runway!!

Only ones that seem easy enough to land on and leave you with enough runway to take off from are the big ones like manston etc :D

I use the Aviator joystick, no wonder I need such a long runway to land, even at low speeds! Though I guess that makes my successful landing of the Me 163 in a field on Simulator more impressive, right?

A useless topic in which he presents a (completely inaccurate) list of planes which he claims are what the community wants.

A useless topic where he asks where the developers are :S. I'd think they'd be busy with the update, which they probably were. And still, what answer did he expect? 'Here'?

A useless topic in which he presents the list of items included in the update, without any reference to the original post on the dev's forum.

These are just the examples in which I asked the same question. If you look up more of his posts you'll notice that some are actually useful, but most is rubbish. Hence, he is known as the forum troll.

lol, I must agree I have read some useless thread titles from you guiltyspark but no harm done just ignore them, actually this is the first i open to read lol.

That's because it only had fuel for 7 mins :P.

If they are going to make the B-17 more resistant to damage then they better tone down it's performance characteristics a bit. As it is it is too fast. Accelerates too fast, and is too easy to use as an enormous trans sonic
dive bomber.

Let me guess, arcade? In Realistic it's slow to fly and slow to turn. Performance seems ok there.

Nope, never played a single match on arcade and never will.

Like I said, the main problem for me is with people DIVING in the plane and retaining too much maneuverability in the dive and too much speed after they pull out of the dive and subsequently climb back to a higher altitude. Let alone the fact that flying that way would would rip the airframe apart. But unlike the PC version, I don't think its possible to damage your aircraft by flying it beyond it's structural limits.

I agree with what your saying. I know this to be true because i have the B17 and use this tactic in strike sometimes :)

structural damage IS possible :D if you get the hurricane into a dive, its wings will get torn off at approx 540mph.

not tried with any other plane yet.
