Where is the QMB?
And is it really true fullscreen when it works just like windowmode?
I mean, tab like normal and even place windows above the game, while it's still showing in the background..

Btw, I change the amount of pre-rendered frames in Nvidia control panel from 3 to 2, and it seems like I get much less input lag now, trackIR and stick reacts better, but at the expense of framerate..

no tir, but i panned crazy with the mouse over the channel at 60Hz and no tearing :)

edit: lol i tried to switch off aero (desktop composition) and i also have tearing with 60Hz in that way.
so please enable aero!

Edit: and plz compare the old 1946 FF with the new for me. plz plz

There is no qmb, just some new missions added to quick missions group and ffb is rather simple atm, with only a few effects, but at least it is better than nothing.

Anyone who has suffered large FPS drop go into audio settings and select Ambisonc, the other multichannel audio settings hammer fps now for some odd reason

I am not playing the game with gamepads but I just tried Xbox 360 wireless gamepad and FF is not working. Also I tried Logitech Rumblepad 2 and FF is working with it. I think there is a problem with gamepads/joysticks that are using XInput for FF. Sturmovik 1946 doesn't have problem with Xbox 360 gamepad and FF is working in it BTW.

Clearing the cache does help the stuttering a bit. I've also got the 'no trees' issue at various detail settings, first they were there, now they're not (post cache clear).

'Very low' trees settings (when it did work) seem to be the same as 'off' (i.e. no trees at all, just the green patches), while 'low' seems overpopulated. Another tree bug to go with the disappearing ones?

My aero is default setting because if i disable it i cannot load joystick setting and i dont get any benefit to fps when disable it. Don't pan with the mouse like crazy, make smooth movement and check your cockpit Windows frame.

I'm getting more stutters and lower FPS with this new patch, especially at ground level (buildings again I suppose) :( It was pretty smooth before this one.

and also this:

I can't play with a lower screen res without it being a window in the top left corner of the screen. So lower the resolution and the game plays in a window now! Also frames are down by 10.

using lesser than native resolution is fine for me. friend of mine also has it in a window though. GTX280 here with latest official drivers. desktop composition (aero) off.

flying around ive not needed to look at FPS figures at all really. i have been able to set some higher settings too. even at 20-25 fps its very very smooth. i believe that was with the trees being off issue. when i jump down in rez to 1600 x 900 iam nearly doubling the frames over the sea with about a 25% increase over land. however it stutters more. nothing removed from cache here.

I have noticed some graphical artifacts. like flashing tubes of thin polygons eminating from various parts of the aircraft. i had simlilar problems with ARMA2.
