Our team resumed workin on the Retrospection project.
One of the members still tries to transfer it to Civil War platform. Actually now it looks a little bit harder than it seemed before :)

Thx man:)! Actually, i'm struggling with my 2TB raid 0 drive which seems to quickly going down (no backup :( ). When I restore all my files I surely visit your forum. I must admit that I've had a lot of problems with Resurection v5 (constant crashes on startup). It was a little discouraging and I lost interest for a while. I hope I'll have more luck this time.

Actually nobody's forced to do nothing about anyhting :)
I could advise you a little bit better way to localize the game without changing *.exe to English version. Though it takes a little bit more patience.

Ok. I've found my old SW archive. This should work. It's translated by google so don't expect too much. For installation instruction check the first page.

for some reason it crashes at start.i follow the steps to the letter.instal the retrospedtion 4.3 , music , video , the 4.3 patch, and then move all content of the folder russian to eanglish and put the file you gava and it crashes
Oh and im using an exe from game copy world

i played around wiht the zip files and after unziping the core,music,video files the game is fine but after a put yours zip it crashes

Try this. It should be the full version so put it in the game directory and run the exe.

I figuered why it crashed. I was using the wrong exe. Anyway thanks for the help

Just wanna say great work on the mod. I had the crash every time I choose a mother ship, but the save games worked for me.

i installed on my winxp support for russian language and now i am able read russian texts even in programs. Notepad++ is good too for texts.

I'm curious, are you going to translate this mod? I mean real translation, not via google.

I did not intend it, i do not like SW2, because bloody criminal Corsair, whom i successfully put behind bars in SW1, is back, even he is joining to party and there is no option, howto prevent it. So i do just models, there is wide area for learn.

Anyone alive yet? If so i got stuck on the return to Eritrea mission.

Well, I'm alive and kickin. I've always wanted to try this one out but could never get it to work. Plus I do not trust the cracked exe on gamecopy world that is suggested on the main page.

Unless you have a one of a kind digital treasure on your computer i suggest you try it out anyway, a few pages back the is a mega.co ling with a full install, you just paste it in your directory and run the exe. The mod is pretty hard is some places and making good team positions and using your skills both frugally and proper;y is the way to win.

I've tried Goblin Wizards download a couple pages back, I assume you mean that one. The exe installs fine but the game crashes on startup. The exe does not include a Star Wolves 2.exe. The issue is that gamecopywold is riddled with viruses and intrusive spyware. If there was a safer place to d/l the adjusted Sw2 game executable, I'd try the mod out as I am a pretty avid player of the series.
