The latest patch for Steam is also 1.17.5.1. Did you have auto updates? If not try to verify the game cache (right click on the Men of War in your game list in Steam client, choose Properties, then click the button called "Verify integrity of game cache").

Auto-updates were on. I just verified the integrity cache, Now what?

Ok, just started up the game. It was about 5 minutes into the game that I froze up. Everything before the freeze was A-OK. I was able to Alt-Tab out onto my task bar on the bottom of my screen from the desktop. A few minutes later I could minimize the game to see the background of my desktop while blocks of the images stuck to my Steam account module window. I had to do a hard restart because my computer completely froze up.

These are my specs:

I have a Nvidia Geforce 7600 GT (512mb I believe) graphics card, AMD Athlon 62 X2 Duel Core 4200+ 2.21 GHz processor, and 2 GB of RAM. I'm running Windows XP SP3 and I have just recently updated my video card drivers from Nvidia's website.

Really strange, please post the exact number of the your version. And also please send DirectX report (dxdiag) to our support (support@1cpublishing.eu).

Update for videocard: 260.89 WHQL, that's weird, this was just released two or three days ago, I just installed the version before that.
I'm not sure if that's the number you need.
Sending DxDiag report now.

Complete froze-up means hardware or core software (drivers) problems, no game is able to freeze a PC completely on its own. You should check your card cooling ASAP or it may be damaged because of overheating.

I was able to do much more in one of my most recent matches ingame. I lasted for about 7 minutes this time after I had upgraded my video card to the latest version, then it randomly froze up and I had to do another hard restart.
Hopefully my DxDiag report and your teams can help me fix my problem for good.

My video card does generate a low buzzing noise though, there's no overheating problems that I know of, I felt the plastic casing on the fan and touched the metal on the back of it, didn't feel hot at all.

There is a number of things in a modern PC that may overheat - video card, CPU, some chips on mainboard.

My XP always makes noise. I mean really loud noise. I've looked inside it and everythings rusty and dusty. FSB may come and arrest me anyday now for keeping a Biohazard in my house.
