Yes they do i did it quite some time ago on the #08 Yak9U and a Turbine legend..I wanted for them to have some story at the time.. :)

I've done nothing with mine yet. I decided I wasn't going to sew ANYTHING onto my Cooper A2 yet (it's 3 years old, but my Wife still wouldn't understand...and it was a gift from her afterall).

I'm likely goingt o sew it onto my TUSA hat I got from Dizz a couple years ago or something similar.

when I'm finished the one of two patches goes in the display case with it.
the second one goes on a jacket as soon as I can find the one I'm looking for, as my other flight jacket was stolen from a KISS concert in Los Angeles back in 1999; it was an avrix canvas with Mech warrior mech patches from the game I had 6 different mechs I had piloted in the Sim.
