A HUGE thank you to all involved with Daidalos Team for all their effort and hard work that has gone into this superb update.

Thanks Daedalus Team! Just had a dogfight in a P47-D vs BF109Ks. I was able to out dive the 109s on a number of occasions but ended up getting hit in the right wing and started losing fuel. I got off a shot at a 109 head on while damaged and got a kill. Realising I was losing fuel fast I headed for the nearest airfield. On approach my port gear failed to deploy. I tried to lower it manually but there was nothing doing. I made the landing on the remaining wheel. Just after touchdown the remaining gear gave way. As I rolled along the concrete runway the sparks ignited the leaking fuel. I was able to bail out of my poor P47.
Quite simply the best experience I have ever had in IL2 and just what I have been looking for!
Keep up the amazing work!

Huge thanks to TD, the squad is having a blast with it and everyone's especially loving the new effects + native widescreen support (no more me walking through how to edit the conf.ini with everyone!). FMB additions are a huge step forward too.

Seriously, I don't think enough praise can be heaped on these guys. They certainly deserve more than our gratitude, that's for sure.

Can't say it better. Thank you!

Again, thank you very much.
God Bless you all!!

Yeah I think the 4.12 P-47 is the closest to reality that the plans has ever been.

Is it me or did you guys do something with the renderings.. It is easier to track moving AC from above now.. it looks more natural.. Before it was kind of hard to track objects down low... it is by no means easy peasy now.. but it just seems to me like my eyes catch the motion better under 4.12 than previous versions.. I still loose them if I look away for too long.. but the lateral motion is easier to spot.
