Players flying at these low alt's is one of the reasons I don't enjoy on-line play :!:

Low level has it's place

Watch from about 17:10 for some low level Blenhiem action!

I guess its a case of a few bombers by themselves can't win a war, but using team work and precision techniques they can sure meet their objectives and roll a map.

Low level attacks aren't all beer and skittles by the way. They are quite dangerous and practically impossible to get away with if the other side can be bothers to protect their assets!

In the gaming world though a little elbow room is needed, some height for maneuvering in an engagement.

There is definitely a place for high level, and low level tactics. I never understood those that only flew at high level, and looked down their noses at ground pounders and their escorts. In a real war you didn't have the option to only fly at a level that gave you the best chance for survival.

Blenheim Crews.

The contribution of the Blenheim crews in the BoB has not been fully recognised. Their losses were savage.

Excellent video
