Once you get the booting problem fixed if you still have trouble starting il2 in directx mode then install the latest directx 9c, it ill install right alongside directx 10 with no problem and will fix the issue.

Yes, will only go to normal or repair screen. Wouldn't repair from the vista disc either. Had to reinstall windows. At least now it works. I hate vista.:mad:
