You use "Hold to ZOOM Camera" instead "Hold to Adjust Field of View" command?

No. 'POV 180 Joystick+POV' and 'POV 0 Joystick+POV' are both set as 'Hold To Adjust Field Of View' I don't use the hat for view as I use TrackIR

I discovered something else. In order to make your analog stick act like a mouse ie zoom faster when you push it far and zoom slow when you only push a little, set the slider in "analog acceleration" In my case I set it for 4
Otherwise your stick will just act like a button and zoom in and out at a constant rate.

Is there any way, in a config file perhaps, of limiting the zoom out so it doesn't stretch to infinity?

If you have an X-52 you can do this without J2K using the SST SW by setting your Ministick Axis to Mouse X or Y and the scroll switch to a modifier like ALT. Then go into CoD and set ALT as the "Hold to Adjust Field of View" button.

When you get in the sim press your scroll wheel switch and use your ministick accordingly. I have my scroll wheel swithc set to M for my map in modes 1 & 3 but mode 2 is combat mode on my X-52.
Thanks for all the help on this..

I dont find solution for this - is default of CLoD, if you adjust FOV with mouse same stretch ZOOM happens.

As paliative I put in JoyTo Key a lower value to HAT down, to slow movement of ZOOM out, that make this more controllable.

Some players programn only ZOON in JoyToKey, and FOV 70 (or 30/90) to HAT Down instead ZOOM out.

In joysticks with advanced progrmming sofware, like CH or Thrustmaster I think that one can program a time for HAT dow press, limiting ZOOM out.
