IL2 has been notorious for problems with 3D drivers. For some it worked brilliantly first go. On the other hand a lot of people had trouble getting shutter glasses to work with IL2 at all.

Hopefully SOW will be more compatible with 3D hardware.

Yep it is known about these problems, but they are solved if you use OpenGL and with 16x.xx drivers (remember to clean correctly the previous drivers installation, it IS VERY IMPORTANT: boot safe mode, uninstall, clean sweeper, driver cleaner, install new ones, boot normal mode) it works flawlessly BUT in Excellent mode, not Perfect mode, at least for me. Anyway, I trade Perfect mode for 3D without hesitating.

In fact I put some months ago a question to Oleg in the main topic of this forum about SOW:Bob 3D support, but he didn't answer, I think (?). I would love that it was supported. I would love to hear Oleg about that! In fact, seeing the times ahead it seems some fault to don't support it...

This 1024x768 is a interpolation of that physical res, so it looks smudgey. and you will not see a Spit wing even if it was right next to you !!!

I've already enquired about 800x600 and 1024x768 PHYSICAL resolution from the manufacturers of Vusixs goggles and they are big $$$$$. so don't expect anything soon from this lot.

Bubble burst

Hi K_Freddie,

The reviewers said good things about them when used with X-Wings, maybe there is an issue with Il-2 drivers, did you try them with MS FS or X-Wings?

Bye,
