Well, for me, its all about multiplayer and flying with my squad mates so not having a random crash 1 - 45 mins into the flight is a massive plus! I can now fly with more eye candy for upto 3 hours. I am enjoying it! When this patch becomes official soon its going to be even better. 2 weeks be sure! :-P

If your like me and are waiting for an official patch, only a few things have changed in a year. The last official patch was in October I think? They updated the aircraft engine sounds (much better.) Do a 109 flyby it's really cool :)
Looking forward to the next official patch. Should be here soon. |

You wish others feel the same? erm 10/10... dont we all? |
My system runs COD just fine with everything on High, and @ 1920x1080, but I assume the majority of users are having problems. Thats why the next patch is so important. If they don't fix the stability issues, for the majority, the beancounters will shut the project down. If this patch fixes the stability issues, then I can see the beancounters being much happier, and the development can start concentrating on the gameplay issues.

The official patch (or even another beta) had better have some bits put back in for me to play again online. Such as clouds, decently rendered skins, no blurred rpm gauges. Throttle controls which function. Take a few minutes to revert to the last official version and have a look at it and a play with it for flip's sake. The patch looks and plays pants in comparison and people are still getting crashes to desktop. I just wish everyone running a server would open their eyes and remember what it used to look and play like. Sorry to be a party pooper and all, but the patch should've been ditched from servers two weeks ago once we'd sent in all the crash files and logs. |
