Darn vulchers!

Seriously though - best cutting and atmosphere in any IL2 movie I've seen! I agree that the story could be improved, but we can't have it all - can we? ;)

I guess it's all a matter of opinion or taste, but I don't get why people are saying the 'story' needs something, like voices or subtitles, or something else.

If you watch the entire movie, the story is quite apparent. It's told in the form of action, drama and music. All movies do not need to follow a cookie-cutter format.

I rarely watch an entire IL-2 movie, as most are not very well made. Watching Eagles, I was riveted from the start and entertained right to the end.

The editing alone was fascinating to watch. It put almost all other IL-2 movies to shame...very professionally done.

Was this a one-man operation or a team effort? How many man-hours do you think went into the project?

:arrow:Once again folks thanks for the feedback, for thoes of you looking for things like voice overs ,subtitles ect, ect , im sorry but I think that kind of stuff is a bit silly and as for the story, yes its very basic but as I said in another thread on another forum , this is commando comic style story telling , nothing more.

Aviar...It took about two and a half months to make in my spare time and yes I work alone, also this story has been cut short for the Ubi competition, if you were watching there were two 190's covering the airfield the one that you see was the novice wingman. Maybe I will release the full version in a couple of months:grin:

Whatchig it again and again (i really like it) i would like to know with resolution do you have. Some of the scenes look reaaaaally nice and neat. I know the map is slovakia and the new skins but even that the graphics look better than anything i saw (without the "help" of the technic, obviously) Which video card and resolution are you using?

:arrow:I use Nvida gtx.xxx and N.hancer, my resolution is 1440x900, I record at 30 fps and then convert to 25 for production,I also use a high end dule core but often switch to single for detailed scenes as I find this works better:grin:

Ps... I allways record in perfect mode OGL.

Ah, that would explain why the aircraft seem to fly and manouvre just that little slower than in game! Was that intentional?

It actually makes the flight look a lot more realistic, especially on rolls where game rollrates are impossible in real life - a nice little trick :)

Same goes for damaged aircraft spinning violently to the ground.
