I have southern England Battle of Britain period maps. They are RAF and dated 1938. The three span from Lamd's End to Broadstairs in Kent.

What's the best way of distributing the images amongst us? Assuming anyone is interested of course.

Best Regards,
MB_Avro.

I'm quite interested. :D

Hi all,

There's no copyright issues.

Here's some images with a disc from Cliffs of Dover for size comparison.
As you can see, most areas of southern England are represented in detail.

Now that's just teasing .. :)

Maybe you shouldn't be unfolding and folding this.. Just a thought if they're of any worth.
Well.. maybe one more time to get it scanned, unless you've already done so

It's a compromise of course. I only unfold them for purposes such as on this thread and with great care. They are quite strong though, and were strong enough for use in a cramped cockpit. They were made in 1938 which makes them spot on for the BoB.

Sheet 12 of England S.E. & London has the name in ink on the cover of G. Edward Hill P/O (Pilot Officer) July 1940.

I was lucky enough to buy them cheaply, but they are worth a few hundred pounds.

Best Regards,
MB_Avro.

These will be so important when we get the SDK and start correcting the stock map. Hope you manage to scan them. Thanks.

These maps are already available as very high quality scans from here:

They do cost $18.99 to download but are worth it IMHO.
