optic camoflage like zebras so predators dont know where one cow starts and ends another in the herd

im a top predator i need not camouflage :)

I'm not an Ornithologist, but perhaps the color of birds is not always liked to camouflage as you might expect. Could be the females prefer a certain color or perhaps grey is unappealing to certain predators.
