Huh? It shouldn't 'bounce'. It should be quite a natural thing. You move your head to look around, you move the joystick/pedals to control the 'plane (sorry if this sounds patronising!).

When mates have tried mine, granted it's a genuine TrackIR, they seem to confuse the two, having been used to a hat switch, and also move their head too much, which results in loss of FoV altogether.

I have to say that I need to press F12 to centralise the view more in Cliffs of Dover than in any other sim however.

It might be easier to experiment in IL2 first, it is definately easier to get used to without 6DoF.
