for me unfortunately the stutters increased much since the last official patch.
with the beta patch i could fly over london almost smooth and only minor stutters.now the screen freezes for 5-10seconds(and not only once).its unplayable again.luthiers suggestion,to set buildings detail to high or lower doesnt help either. i have squares of green and brown all over the map.fps dropped from average 50 to 40 over land.if i want to quit a mission and hit escape,i will see windows desktop(i have to push it about 30times until i see the clod interface again).and all that after a fresh install of the game and with the latest drivers and steam cloud on as suggested by luthier.im pissed |

I have an Ati GPU (the MSI cyclone 4890 1GB) which had the usual issue of not throttling up, so i confirmed it by logging the clock speeds with GPU-Z: if it gets to the maximum speeds then it must be running in fullscreen mode. On the release version it was stuck at 240Mhz, then a few patches later it got to 500Mhz, now it properly throttles up to 850Mhz like in every other game i run. I can also see this in the FMB, when the map is zoomed out the cooling fan is nice and quiet, but as soon as i zoom in close enough for the map to switch to a 3d render it picks up speed just like it does in all other games when the clock speed is automatically increased by the driver. |

Hi David, same here. Beta patch was better for me too, had even clouds and shadows on. Now i have to disable them. Have to drop down Landshading to medium. Stuka and Hurri unplayable. |
