I really haven't seen any one really cheating on IL2, if they have it's been very rare and caught by the admins. I have seen allot of exploiting going on though! Makes me sic to watch someone fly a 190 and turn it 180 and not lose speed or black out. "Exploit"! SEEN allot of that.

If CFS is still going strong, I cordially invite all the modders (re:hackers) who have done SO MUCH to 'improve' Il-2 to head on over to the CFS community and 'help' them. You've already done MORE than enough to 'help' us. PLEASE, PLEASE go help someone else now.

Once this community is totally fractured, you guys who think these criminals (read the EULA) have done us such a service can thank them that you don't have any decent servers left on Hyperlobby to fly. Yeah, they've done a WONDERFUL job...

Don't you understand, hackers don't care.

They take pleasure in runing anything for anyone, just to prove they can, and because they get great pleasure in making people like us frustrated that take pride in the fact we can put full realism in our combat flights (well as much as possible within the game). They DON'T care. They just wanna be the "bad boys" of the geek world.

Modders, I have no issues with. In fact any one who does those fine skins I download nearly every day from Ubi's forums are modders. Modders are also those guys who try hard to make the game more realistic, add more aircraft, better scenary and on and on. Not all modders are hackers.

Hackers are just wannabe modders without artistic skills :D Not that I think of programming as an inferior thing, just thinking out loud.

You can't justify this by calling them 'modders'. The code is LOCKED. The hacks were NOT approved by Oleg, 1C, or Ubi. The EULA specifically prohibits hacking into the code and modifying the sim. They did this, hence, they ARE hackers. Sugar-coat it all you want, but this IS a fact which you can NOT argue.

I've read that they don't want to change any FMs. Well, seems that they've crossed the line with the Avenger already. The plane wasn't ever intended to be flyable in it's present form, so the HACKERS made it flyable. Guess what? The plane was all but uncontrollable. So, to fix it, THEY ARE GOING TO CHANGE IT'S CENTER OF GRAVITY! Now, if this isn't against their stated intent, I don't know what is.

Like I said above, a thief is a liar, and a liar is a thief. SURPRISE! They lied about something! I'm shocked!......not....

I'm not justifiying anything the people that are causing problems are doing.

I am however fully supporting the modders that are putting a lot of effort into making IL-2 a better game, by adding more models, etc etc. As long as the game maintains its dynamics (IE, a kinda accurate flight model based on the aircraft data available, accurate weapon systems etc.) then I have no problem with it. Its just like those folks that Mod BF:2142, Quake, Doom, and on and on and come up with some really cool stuff like Team Fortress and Red Orchestra.

This thread is NOT about hacks/mods.It is about 4.09! And there is still no answer.

Never ceases to amaze me the number of idiots that equate modding with HACKING.

I suggest all you "modders" piss away off and play your hacked games with each other, leave the online community alone.

I agree...all unsolisted mod/hack/peons can pissoff back to CFS3 and make it all it can be. They've been mod/hacking that sim for years and its still crap. :evil:

That aside, any idea when 4.09'll be out? That Slovakia map looks the dog's danglies and I'm keen to get to grips with it.
