So what about something like this: *Positive feedback ... *Negative feedback ... *Results of the black death track (all settings to high or if you prefer, very high***) ... *System specs (and driver version of video card) *Card settings set to to default in Nvidia control panel or Catalyst Control Centre. ***Our screen resolutions should be added as well. Should we give it a try tomorrow? |

Positive feedback Much smoother overall, higher fps, less stuttering. V-Synch now eliminates screen tearing. Nice to see Hurri now has a mirror. Negative feedback External sounds disappear online and are sometimes, but not always, out of synch in Black Death track. Most obviously when the 110 collides with the Hurri. Would prefer mirrors to be off by default until they actually work. Black Death Benchmark Frames, Time, Min, Max, Avg 3345, 218640, 3, 36, 15.299 ATI Driver version 8.821.0.0 CCC version 2011.0126.1749.31909 Basic 3d Settings set to 'Balanced', ATI overdrive off. Aero off, in-game AA off, all other settings Very High, epi filter off, v-synch and SSAO on. i7 860 @ 2.8ghz, 6 gig DDR3 RAM, ATI 5770 @ 850/1200 mhz, 1920 x 1080, 60hz scr. res. I don't have any system analysis software as yet, but would welcome any suggestions. Also any comments on the format above.:) Incidentally, going to advanced CCC settings and changing all application controlled settings to 2x, tessalation off, everything else 2x, high performance or off, enabling overdrive and increasing clock speeds by 5mhz, resulted in an average fps increase in 'the black death' of only 3 fps, with no change to the min and max. Hmmmm................ |

I'll do likewise with the patch later tonight. (Assuming it goes live) |
