It works for me from normal Aircraft settings menu (the only thing that works there i think). You can also change it manually in user.ini in your Documents folder. (and loadouts too btw)

Do not forget to backup it first. If you break it you can just delete it and game will create new one.

would be nice if somone told me how to change them, manualy, at the moment i dont have a clue?

Change loadouts in FMB and save them as "default" and "custom" replacing original ones. Then they should be available in QMB. Or fly all QMB missions from FMB. It is more fun anyway.

So how do you do that?
This is coming from someone who has never used FMB before, so some help would be nice?

Copy a mission from CoD Steam folder to your CoD Documents\missions\single folder.
Open the mission in FMB.
Click group of aircraft you want to fly to select it.
Rightclick it and chose Properties.
On the 2nd tab (Group properties iirc) find weapons selection.
Open weapons menu.
Change loadout in it.
Save profile.

Now you can use this profile anywhere in the game hopefully. Or at least in FMB definitely.

It's even easier than that. You can do it in the Loadout screen any time you want. You just have to remember that:
a) The gun and bomb loadouts are different to the OVERALL loadout.
b) When you make a gun loadout it is only saved to an overall loadout if you also create and name an overall loadout that saves all of your gun and bomb presets in the first loadout tab. Each individual loadout tab is only part of the overall loadouts - when you save an overall loadout it is saved in the loadouts list for quick missions.

This way you can create gun and bomb loadouts for various scenarios, and then when you create a new loadout you don't have to make up a new belting for bomb delay setting every time, you can just select one of your previous presets for each section in various combinations.

At least this is how I understand it and how it worked for me (might have changed since the patch, I'm downloading it now).

What do you mean by 'doesn't work'? Does it not open at all? The only planes that it does work for for me are planes that have no guns. This is how I do it:

Go to the CoD main menu.

Click Options->Plane->Pick Spitfire IIa (for example)->Loadout.

You'll see three tabs, Weapon Sets, Guns, and Bombs.

Bombs is greyed out because the Spitfire IIa doesn't carry them.

Go to the Guns tab and create whatever gun loadout you want. Then click Save As and give it a name, whatever you want, doesn't matter.

Then go into Weapon Sets and select how much fuel you want and you can click Save As and then call it whatever you want. The way they've set it up means that you can have a preset for bombs or a preset for guns, and then another overall preset that saves both.

Now when you go to Quick Mission and select Spitfire IIa you will have a loadout in the list called whatever you want.

Try'd that, didnt work
went to gun tab created a loadout saved it...
then went to weapons sets done my feul, but noticed, were it says wing guns in weapon sets, its still listing 8xbrowning.303
and if i click it the only other option there is empty?

TheGrunch 04-18-2011 05:57 PM

Were you expecting to be able to load different guns? That's all the Spit IIa should have, 8 brownings or nothing. It's the ammo belts in 'Guns' that you can change. Did you click Save As in the Weapon Sets screen after that?

Doc_uk 04-18-2011 06:06 PM

You mean main belt in Guns, and yes i did save as in weapon sets
but its not working
