Here's another nice site with lots of background stuff about aircraft engines: http://www.enginehistory.org/ Apparently, one could theoretically get a copy (printed or electronic) of a Hurricane I Pilot's Notes from the National Archives at Kew (GB): http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/c...rue&UserType=0 Didn't go so far as to try this, though. The Engine History site has a Reference section with a lot of well, references to engine records present in the National Archives. Nothing for direct download, but that's probably a tall order given the amount of stuff present... |
