Yep great stuff, did a free hunt to England and like Badaim ran out of patience and straffed 2 spits at an airfield, was briefly chased and shot at crossing the english coast but the pursuer broke off (lack of ammo?) then coming up to the French coast spied a Hurri heading home, turned and got on his tail but couldnt catch him :( Landed back at base with a few flak/bullet holes in my a/c, again great stuff.

When replaying track was unable to get outside view even after clking edit view, bug?

ps, how do you rearm in game? allocated a button to reload but that didn'e seem to work?

Thx again

Re-arm is something I'm looking into atm. I suspect it will have to be scripted but I'll try certain things first.

Cheers Doghous3, and thx for all your time and effort.

Airfield Lights?

56 would like to try this sever but we are in UK and the server seems to run on GMT(?) so its going to be dark most of our Squad night.

Any chance of adding some Height Lights (under Searchlights) or similar to the ends of the runways?

Hi klem.

The mission should now maintain the same time of day all day long (daylight!). So it should be sunny regardless of whenever you join. Let us know if it does get dark.

Until we can figure out rotations, scripting, etc.etc., still only the 2nd day here, the missions will have a constant time.

Cheers

I did briefly look into various lights, although they didn't seem to work on first inspection; but not really delved into that yet, so they could work, and probably do.

OK, thanks, I just went in there again for half an hour. I thought it was about 2:05pm to start (BST-3?) and I thought it was about 2:35pm when I left but I maybe wrong.

I used Height Lights on a test mission and the worled ok with two problems

1. You can see them through the instrument panel :)
2. They disappear at a distance, perhaps a few mlies.

I'll post the panel problem in the appropriate thread.

Okay, it stayed up a total of 2.5 hours after I went to bed last night

So bear with us, I have thrown up the volcano isles map for now, still full realism, but I just want to see if its something on the server which is unstable or the custom missions.

Also this will give people a chance to actually see other planes and get to grips with the complex eng management. Not a type of map we prefer at Syndicate but hey ho for testing purposes.

Later I hope to have a rotation going which will involve some of the other quake type maps for testing.

About the same with that map so back to the battle of Britain map, that's more fun.
