Yeap.. $90 for a game.. thats about the usual price...

Tho Australia is going through a bit of a revelation in recent times, notably a number of high profit business people are crying poor about the number of people importing from the US/UK.. But then, you'd be an idiot to ever pay AU retail prices anyway..

Yep! As of today $1.00 US = $1.03 AU. The game retails for about $40-50 US so why is EB Games screwing the Aussie flight communiy by charging $90-108 AU? See http://www.ebgames.com.au/search?title=cliffs+of+dover

from Wikipedia

"The name Karrinyup was originally derived from the word Careniup, a Noongar name for a nearby swamp which apparently means "the place where bush kangaroos graze". "

The translation I heard was "Place of Bullrushes"!

Yes it's true! I live in a swamp! Which isn't too bad because a near-by suburb is called Innaloo, which is almost but not as bad as living in "Upper Swan"

Cheers!

Amazing.

I was in CBD all day, and didn't go in to one EB- normally I go in just to get depressed by the shrinking PC section.

Could have had my own Golden Ticket moment :(

When people from there are asked where they live do they reply "Innaloo"?

The actual joke that does the rounds is "Where would you rather live? Innaloo or Up-a Swan?"

cheers!

I went to two game shops (in Sweden) today. Neither of them had heard of CoD, though one shop found out they would be getting it in on Thursday. I was pretty sure they wouldn't have a clue about it, as with any Flight sim. I was a bit shocked that one would have on the shelf though, and so soon!

I was there out of curiosity.

My game won't be shipped from German Amazon until the week after it is on shelves here :-(
