SH3 with mods has yet to be beaten or even improved upon, both successors didn't come close and the permanent connection wasn't an issue (Assassins Creed 2 required it also but that did quite well) due the fact that I never turn off my router (my XBOX360 nut of a son would probably hire a hitman if I ever turned it off)

Well one reson i never even looked at the game was because of permanent connection ,so it got a foot in the door
|
It has been confirmed that CoD will NOT require permanent internet connection... So?

Do you mean I'll have to be connected to that scary evil thing called the "internet".:o
oh the horror. |
Surely an entertaining bunch you are! Everyday seems to bring the same silly pointless threads. Not saying all of them are, but I think you could all agree that the 1c forums get their fair share of them. I mean c'mon we already know the answer to this question: There will be no constant internet connection required! Simple as that. It has been officially announced.
Some of us (certainly we all know a few of them) need to step away from the computer for awhile and take up a different hobby for awhile. |

I decided to not buy at first. I bought it at a second hand book store for $8 two weeks after it was released. Even at $8 it was a worthless. :-P When you started it up there was this virtual pilot hanging around the garbage cans... That should have told everyone a great experience was at hand. LOL As I recall MysticPuma you were around doing CFS2 yourself. |
Doesn't bother me, my internet is always on anyway.
I played SH5... I must be the odd one out because I actually enjoyed it... Once I was able to get it running without CTD all the time, dam VC++ Runtime bug thingy UBI support was actually helpful... OMG ... somebody stop me, I said something nice about UBI ... where's my sanity pills? |
