I hope that all you that like the Italian flying boats from the late 20:ies have seen the great animated movie "Porco Rosso" by Hayao Miyazaki? His plane is artistic version of the Macchi M.33 mentioned above...

It's from the early 1990'ies. It is a beautiful animated film.

I really like these waterplanes! I like all waterplanes in general but with landing gear; superb!
