I think You need to check for the latest PC parts prices.

You can have 99999999999 FPS from Graphics and CPU, but your LCD monitor works on 60 Hz, that means max 60 FPS:) and I think this laptop will make it for any game.

The main goal in building a powerful computer system is not going BELOW 60 fps at any moment in the simulation.
Going OVER 60 fps it´s overkill anyway,our eyes can´t say the difference beetwen 60 or 100 fps.

You don't always get tearing, it depends massively on the application in question and either way, some people prefer a more fluid fps rate with tearing to having the fps jump in divisions of 60.

I for one have never had any issues ever with running IL2 with v-sync off.

yes I know..... I wrote that to prove that some people needs to have more than 60fps;)
