no offense Ancient but have you noticed how many previous posters in other threads mention this of you...? (my Dutch colleagues say its kinda a Dutch thing - "not intentional just how we come across")

I have to agree that in many lines of work you get sh!t done or else...most don't have the luxury of such nebulous deadlines...

Having said that Skweeking about THIS game makes "Sweet Football Association" of a difference...

The MP was a bodge job...lets hope next bop does actually sort it out.

PS the game is still wonderful people...just sayin!

Oh for the love of go@,WE dont want news about the update,we want the UPDATE.Someone call somebody and get some people off there ass and off the next game AND FIX THIS GAME...WE dont need it to do backflips just fix the scoring.so that dieing is not a good thing thats what most players are upset about is the multi player scoring HOW LONG COULD THAT TAKE TO FIX.This is getting to the level of ridiculousness that is hard to understand.

Gunny,

I refer you to my other post which will fully address your problem:

I have been stuck playing fm3 since I broke down and bought it last friday...The game is awesome for a sim, the cars all drive like they should out of the box, there are detailed cockpits for each of the 400+ cars (400 thats a lot of cockpits), the physics and gameplay options are vast. Car customization is deep and there are so many FREE add ons already I had to clear space on my hard drive...The next day I came to work I told all my co-workers what a great purchase this game is! Its so hard nowadays to feel satisfied with the rushed crap we are dealt so often, its rare to see a game with this level of polish that used to be the norm(fm3 I mean). Coming back to Bop it just feels so...weak. I moved into a new place and bought a new coffee table, my soda is leaving a ring on it and I forgot to buy coasters...Bop may get some use after all.

Basically he thinks Forza 3 is awesome and Il-2 is a coaster.

Well that's a very basic description.:-P He was saying how polished fm3 is (400 finished cockpits & free DLC) then he comes back to IL2 and it doesn't have the same feeling, thus the coaster remark.

I just dont know how to feel about this game anymore, I waited long and had such anticipation for this title...I hate to say it but with the way this is going, it wont be long before you see IL-2 next to Over G fighters and Chromehounds in the bargain bin...This game should have come with instructions on how to screw yourself and a tool to do it with.

I know I was just summing it up.

ok as part of the USMC.We got orders to move from 1 base to another base .we moved 1240 men.78 trucks.12 tanks 7 helos.and all the equipment for every man across a country A ENTIRE COUNTRY all in 24 hours...So being a man that has been involved with things like this is.Tell me again how hard it is to wright some new code for a video game...WHAT A JOKE YOU little computer geeks are acting like this is some big deal for a programmer. You guys need to realize this is a video game if there jobs depended on it I bet they could wright the code in a afternoon. They maybe able to pull the wool over you young guys eyes

but im a old man I know how life works THE SKWEEKY wheel gets the grease but as a group we are not skweeking enough or we would have our update already

And yes thats my own spelling on the word skweeky I LIKE IT

When you talk about things you don't understand you sound like an idiot.

You obviously have no idea about either software coding, how the industry works or the ages of your fellow forum users, so stop talking like you do.

Drawing comparisons between a military operation and the coding of a video game patch is moronic.

This is brilliant writing here:grin:

I couldn't agree more with this guy or House MD -- this game was a tremendous let down -- but maybe my expectations were just too high. I stopped playing it about three weeks ago -- but check this forum now and again for any news.
