You all realize this isn't Luthier right? Just some guy from the PR dept making a post instead.

Thank you for posting luthier. In your last update, you said you expected a 50% or better increase in performance from the new version of the graphics engine. This seemed like an incredible claim. Do you still stand by that, or do you now have a different expectation?

As I'm about to spend more than a thousand extremely hard earned dollars on an upgrade, some honest talk would be appreciated.

Good question, I remember asking this question during development, having got no answer i then asked Luthier what PC spec he had as the few bits of in game footage they had showed us appeared to run smooth. He wouldn't reply. My advice would be to wait if your PC is just for CLOD, even if Luthier does reply history as shown that his word means very little, sad but unfortunatley true.

Rubbish. This obviously isn't true because they clearly don't have a PR department. They only seem to be posting when a patch is ready or the discontent is becoming too loud. Would be better not to reach this point at all.

Imagine how different the mood on this forum would be if there were updates every few days, not necessarily long, but of the flavour 'Such and such has been working on comms for the last few days. A funny thing happened when he tried to activate the new regroup order...'

Everyone would be chomping at the bit for the expansion and new patches rather than commenting on how they will be reluctant to part with another penny!

... a word to Tree UK !

Many people are bashing you because your words bring it to the point.
What did you write?

"....How did this old graphic bug that causes crashes ever get past alpha and beta testing and why is it still causing crashes 8 months after release?? Either it is some sort of super bug or you guys are the most incompetent game makers of modern times...."

Well written but no wonder you get banned so often with such postings.
You express things that are true but nobody likes to hear. I´m glad I´m not the only one who is really pissed off, besides those who hail and praise the devs for every little word they write here.

6 years of waiting for the "super-flightsim", then on release day just crap that you get for your money. Now more than 6 months after release still not something that you really "enjoy" despite all the patches. I wonder when this sim will be what it was supposed to be when I bought it?

Your sometimes harsh words are justified, I guess you dont need it but you have my moral support!
:!:

(PS: besides this definitely justified criticism I´m nonetheless glad that this sim gets further support by the developers, I´m just not so generous with praise.)

I broke three of those upon arrival. Mere slight touch did crack the plastic tooth of the hinge.

I gave up to return ProClip for warranty and pretty much shelved the damn thing.

What an rubbish quality!!!

S!

I have TrackClip Pro and works. The quality could be better, but what I did was glueing the pivots to one position. I first checked the best position of the clip on my headset and then used super glue to stiffen it up. No problems since then.

Typically USB circuits work better with 20~50k pots, why use 100k - more subject to pick noise?

This depends on the chip, what you are using. And the Joywarrior works best with 100K potis, as it's written in the datasheet of it.
And yes there are multi-turn (10 revs).
