It's obviously a work in progress because the P-38 and the B-17 are now on the list! Yay!!

For some reason they refer to the targeting of Yamamoto's plane by P-38s as operation Lightning, I always thought it was operation Vengeance? I know it's only a small detail, I just hope there aren't too many other small errors in the final product.

Definately looking forward to this one mates! :D

But I must say.. the US plane set looks awesome. Can't wait to see all the others!

there is World of Planes which i imagine is the PC version of very simular....

I've had it on pre-order for a couple of months with amazon and have had numerous notification of so-called release date. About the only thing that's concrete from these is that is due next year!!

I breathe again...

Oh wow! Looks to be quite promising. Will definitely keep an eye open for this. Hopefully there is some sort of a single player element though. At least a "training" area like in WoP, similar to the QMB in 1946. Practice makes perfect after all....

Great find, thanks :)

I hope the highlighted (red) is avaliable on the xbox 360!! PS3 players having the ability to take pics in game was something we the 360 players missed out on.

Its looking like a very promising game i must admit.

Can't wait to jump into it.

all the characters are real ,the time of action too ,the only detail which is not right is that : the captain HUMBERD attacked and destroyed a zero in head to head attack and not by an attack in the 6 of the ennemy like in my comic.

friendly

to add what McQ said...here's want amazon posted here in the us:

Product Features
Over 100 real life planes - Dog fight and dive bomb in actual WW2 planes and rain down terror from above. Determine for yourself which plane is the ultimate bird of prey.

Navigate through hundreds missions - Embark on 20 historical missions, hundreds of procedural missions scattered throughout 16 different locations. All are inspired by real life campaigns such as Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal and the battle of Wake Island.

so 16 maps...cool. like the locations. would be intersting to try to defend pearl...

Pioneering online and multi-player modes for flight sims - Enjoy 4 player co-op or go into the new and unique online ware mode to compete against up to 16 aviators across world. More exciting details to come!

dedicated servers?? and for how much??

Key innovations - The finest details are the most critical in the new physics and damage models. Controlling speed is a direct result of effect manipulation of the ailerons, and rudders.

going to be able to slip/crab and/or "wag your tail" to bleed off speed?? looking forward to see what this means

Fun for all gamers -Multiple levels of realism offer a gameplay experience for gamers of all walks: Simplified, Realistic up to Simulator for the serious flight-sim aficionados.

not calling it arcade...that's interesting. are they trying to shy away from using that word?

Hey Olife San,

Great new comic!

Did you notice that Gaijin has used a very similar comic strip as a background to its new Birds of Steel website?

Have a look below!

Triple Banzai!!!
