I just select quick mission. I believe that in quick mission that should be default (as in Hurry).

Can't map the mouse wheel.

When launching, some players get an error message saying "nvldmmkm stopped working.....(something, something)".

It seems to be a COD related issue. Needs a fix.

Problems I found regarding Italian planes...

1° - Fiat G.50 HAS NOT the overboost function - WEP (it was called "+100" and added 100 mmHg for the engine)
Engine power could be increased, for a short period of time, to 960 HP at 3.000 m. The engine should be then running at 890 mmHg pressure.
In the game, manifold pressure at max throttle is 710 mmHg... A lot less than what it could achieve.

As it is now, the plane feels so underpowered.
It certainly wasn't. Power to weight ratio was 0,35 HP-KG... way better than Hurricane I for example (0,24 HP-KG).
I certainly doesn't feel like that in the game.

Whenever you start to make a shallow climb with a G.50, it stalls.
It wasn't fast, but... it could outclimb an Hurricane 1 so...

And it can just reach 350 km/h at sea level. IRL it could master about 40 km/h more.

2° - All the instruments in the G.50 cockpit don't work or move. They don't move at all.

3° - Somehow, in a "normal" combat configuration, the G.50 is always way too heavy. There's maybe 100 kgs more than the normal configuration in the "plane settings". Only if you get 30% fuel it is in the right take-off weight. Weird...

4° - BR 20 - Bomb doors doesn't seem to work at all.

Apart from that, the game is a brilliant piece of work IMO. It has huge potential, and I really enjoy the damage model.
It runs quite smooth with my old rig too (E7500 + 2GB RAM + GTS450) at low-medium settings.

Cheers
Rick

That is because neither aircraft has aileron trim.

Thanks for that. I didn't know. :(
After doing a bit of "googling" though, I found out that they do have an adjustable trim tab only it has to be set (bent in the appropriate direction) on the ground.
Shame we can't do that somehow. I find the continual roll to the right a pain.

If game is running on WinXP with Forrest NOT set to Off, green textures are shown instead of water if you fly over the channel.

Mission only loading to 95% is not just an xp problem. I have the problem with vista 64. Not solved by turning off grass or upgrading drivers. I get missions to load@ 50% of the time and never with Spitfire 1a,2a.Thanks

-AA does not really work

-FFB support

-Stutters and awful performance (GTX470, i7-920, 6G RAM, Win7 64)

Sometimes all controls in the aircraft are duplicated in a low and medium version:
