IMHO Saying that is going to be release but not tell you what System Requirements will have It's absurd, you need them to know if you need a new PC or but a new video card

Huzzar!

Excellent news!!! Thanks for the info.

As others have posted; time for that new PC.... :D

Hmm, Ubi has only PC download pre-orders at this time at 49.99 EUR
Better wait for the collector´s edition.

First: quick bit of PR nitpicking. It's the British Army, but the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

Vets/historians might be a little miffed to see mention of the "British Airforce". There is no such entity - it's the RAF. Especially in a product like this, that's quite important!

Second: Woohoo! Will be awaiting news of delivery/download options before purchasing. I'm in North America so not sure what the best method of acquiring a collector's box would be (I'll take a download for the game, if it's via Steam or other such system).

That linked screenshot (0018) is gorgeous. Most of the others have been seen before.

Congrats 1C & devs, can't WAIT to see the full thing running on a high-spec system!

Cheers, Spinner

I can hardly believe this day has arrived. Wonderful news.

Agreed. I can't in good conscience buy this game if the DRM goes too far. And neither could I play my small part in making the sim a commercial success by recommending it to friends. Both things I ver much want to be able to do.

I'd happily buy 3 or more copies - of the collector's edition, too - if there was no DRM at all. Which might as well be the case since DRM doesn't work. But then I guess we can't expect executives working for Ubisoft to be in touch with reality.

I'm new to this forum...I just wanted to add my excitement and thanks to the new up-and-coming IL-2. Sweetness!!!

I'm truly excited for the announcement of Cliffs of Dover but I can't but dream a little about the possibilities in the future of a North African campaign/DLC/Mod. I'm just dreaming, so no offense to what was just announced, CoD.

Yes, but will you - will you really buy 3 copies or are they just cheap words? There is bound to be some DRM, I'm totally fine with online activation - once.

I wonder if the shops..Not online stores but places in town will get any collector editions.

Praise the lord wtf is going on this year, we're getting IL2, Duke Nukem Forever and Red Orchestra 2 !, I think hell just frose over and pigs started to fly!

I dislike the name Duke Nukem Fornever in the same sentence as CoD! It shares the title "biggest vaporware in history" with Elite IV.

Yes. At least three. The sim, to me, is worth that much. I'll happily supply evidence on release day. If!
