Can anyone tell me what are the maximum settings for the conf.ini. Are some only 2 or do they all go higher.
|
max settings - switch to perfect mode, select maximum settings in the il2setup.exe, in the conf.ini set the visibility distance to 72km, under OpenGL section set water = 3 (or 2 or 4, depends on GF), set forest = 3.

Jurinko.
Visibilty set to 73 in Conf.ini. ? do you mean 3 which seems to be the defult with Landgeom=3 |
I set my visibilty to 73 and it went back to 3

Watch out!!! the VisibilityDistance parameter in the conf.ini (opengl) must be set to 3 to have the maximum visibility range of 73km and not to the actual range distance like you did! ;) So VisibilityDistance=3 corresponds to a visibility range, in the game, of 73km! |

Thanks for clearing that up Devis |
A bump to keep it on the frontpage :)

Well I have so say that these DLLs, minus the full mission builder problem with the damage cities graphics as mentioned before, is otherwise spot on. No visual glitches at all...solves so many problems.

I've been having an issue with both these March 13th DLLs and the ones before them. As you can see below:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...grab0000-1.jpg This is on the Kurland map, but this problem also shows up on other maps. In addition to this, I get a lot of flickering with shadows on the water cast from trees and hillsides. I'm also getting issues with stuttering when flying over large cities like Libau (on the Kurland map). I'm using a pair of 8800 GTS cards in SLI mode and have tried various drivers to fix this issue (currently running the new 174.74s). I run in 1920x1200 resolution, all graphics settings maxed out (except for LandGeom). |
