O/T for this thread sorry, but Kodoss, it sure would be good if you did a build log with pictures when you make this controller!

well not ths friday nor the next.
SOW willay dorment untill.
To my sorrow the sim isn't generating any crash dump files other wise i would surly have sent them.
As it is i Bought the sim knowing it wasnt finnished but i think its no mean thing the developers are undertaking.
They came true with il2 in a fasion i think no other developer has done.
So they earn my support and I wish tem well.

Tree_Uk has already been seen on line.

It's a pitty COD isn't stable on his system because he was really getting into it. It must be extremely frustrating having a sim with so much potential, but not being able to run it for any length of time.

I'm glad it's working for me.

I reckon! Ever look at yourself in the mirror with your FT/TrackIR set on? :)

lol, I once nipped across to my corner shop to grab some milk with my trackir cap on complete with vector clip!! I realised when I was in the shop but decided to front it out despite the odd looks!! Ive got one of those pro clips now to save further embarrasment.

Today it's really easy to do this. All you need are 3 Potis with 3600°/100kOhm an old USB-cable and a Joywarrior-modul for 8 or 16 buttons.

I did this once with my good old Thrustmaster Attack-Throttle to bring it into modern times, since there where no more drivers for it.

The expensive part are the potis (3x15€). No wonder why Saitek only build one trimmwheel.

PS: I have still to decide for 8 or 16 buttons.
Attachment 7737 Attachment 7738

You seem to be into potis and that stuff?
Speaking of Saitek: As I have two of those x52-bastards, I decided to disassemble one throttle. Those potis inside look rather cheap and the spiking annoys the hell out of me.
Now, the question is:
Are they available in higher quality, if so, where can I get them and finally: will they be compatible with the saitek software/PCB?
Thx.
