Kerosene..yes here is a nice park nearby. During winter you can ski there as the paths are not kept open ;) Rovaniemi is a nice little place and if you stop here just let me know! Would be great to meet other propellor heads :D Freycinet, glad you liked the museum. I visit it whenever possible, just to see the Bf109G-6 :) This same example flew the last flight of the plane 1953 in FiAF. Was interesting to read and hear how they struggled to keep the Bf109's airworthy when rest of the world went to jets and all that. Saying was that fly a day, repair 2 weeks..tells about the spare part problems etc. One Bf109G-6 was assembled from 3 different planes and quite a few even went over a total overhaul at the aircraft factory. Good they spared some for museum and not trash them all like the bombers for example. One Blenheim survived and is now on display at the museum :) Worth seeing! |

rmdir /s "C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache" 1. Copy to notepad. 2. Replace the USERNAME with what you have in your system path. 3. Save as a .bat file, i.e. a file with a "bat" extension. (How to create a bat file.) Please test if it helps to stop launcher crash. EDIT Attached file should work for everyone at least on Win-7. No need to edit path/username, just extract and run. Please report if it helps to stop crashes. |

Wow, Yak18T an acrobatics capable plane. I wish sometimes in the future to get my greedy little hands on some acrobatics plane and fly some acrobatics. I do fly mostly Piper Cherokee/Warrior & Cessna 172 kind of stuff. By the way today we had here sunny but cripsy -20 celsius degrees weather here and I had an opportunity to co-pilot with an experimetal skiplane, Kitfox. That was awesomely different and challenging compared to hard surface operated nose wheeled and more heavier/stable planes. a picture of skimounted Kitfox before the trip |
