Then let steam check your game files (select the game in steam client -> right mousclick-> properties -> local files -> check files) i have a german version so the translation may be a bit different.

Then try it again.

Great!! many thanks... problem solved!

possible memory leak in this version ?

started a online game and had task manager runng on screen, showed cpu1 at 90% and the others at about 25% plus using 3.4 gig of ram , as i flew one flight i watched the memory usage go up slowly to 4.7 gig when i had to land with no elevators lol ( did it btw )

that was only one flight i need to try this again and see how high it would go after 3 or 4 flights ?

i understand that games will use ram as they go but maybe the guys with less ram are experiencing pauses dew to no ram left and this is why some get very low fps at times ?

im not really up on this kinda thing so i could be miles out .

edit . just flew some more and it went to 5.4gig usage then i had a lockup and when i checked task manager it said i only had a couple of meg of memory free ( the available part said more though )

@41Sqn_Stormcrow: No of course not :-). The "bug" is, that I cannot figure out whats going on in this sim. Why is it working today, what happened the day before (2 FPS).

But as we are talking about bugs. When my ME109 stands @ground the - uhm how is it called - its "Vorflügel" in german. I would say "flaps on the frontwing" are going in and out on hi frequency. Perhaps I upload a Vid later, which shows this.

Salute!

Sometime running processes can cause problems.

Tidy up your stuff in the msconfig

Online gaming sadly was and still is impossible for me. I am even lucky when I am able to enter the cockpit and fly for some minutes.
But often I already get crashes right after connecting to a server while trying to select a side or a plane. :(

I already closed my firewall, lowered the graphic settings - without any change. Does someone has the same problem or even a solution?

System specifications:
AMD Phenom II X6 1095T
AMD Radeon HD 6970 2GB
4 GB Ram
Windows Vista 32

You will have noticed most forum user include their system specifications when reporting problems.

Please include you Hardware and operating system for assessment.

@KG26_Alpha: Yes you are right, processes can make some kind of mess on a system, but I have no unwanted processes running, when using CloD.

I just tried to fly online again and the stutters are heavily dropping my fps to 2.

It seems this has something to do with the online servers as well. They have a good ping (<=70), but something happens when other human pilots are in the surrounding. Perhaps other players, which are having a bad ping cause this problem, I don't know...

Why this does not happen on REPKA - Steppe and why this definitly happens on an other server named "ravenhost.ch.vu". Both with very good pingtimes.

Greetings
Daniel

@MegOhm: I can post my settings, but as you can read in a previous post of me, the stutters are back again. Meanwhile I think it depends on the onlineservers.

Please have a look at the attachment for my settings.
