No, not right! It s a forum where we can speak out our opinions and we are the users who paid for the game. I m not saying the game is crap, it has the most potential i have ever seen in an air combatsim. Even luthier sayd "know exectly what the comunity wants". I liked the terraincolors of the betapatch bevor this one. I also know that it is impossible to get everyone sattisfied, but like i said it s a "forum", where we can tell the developteam what we like and not.
Just my 2 cents

Of course we can speak out our opinions...But..If you were Luthier , at this very moment, what would you do for the next patch regarding terrain colors and cockpit interior based on all the " opinions" expressed on this forum since last release of Beta patch ? Could you draw the line between everyone wishes and what is best for the game ? How would you define what is the priority ?
Radio chat ? SLI ? Stutters ? Reflections ? More planes ? and so on...
At this point, too many " opinions" to even think about being able to keep track...So it is more and more useless to compile opinions since there is absolutely no concensus about anything concerning changes done in those two last patches. It is all Luthier's game now...

Salute !

I take it you're from Germany? You got to talk to your government to get those bans lifted. That is what happened here in the U.S. We finally got most of our music bans lifted from youtube

It is pretty easy to sift between the opinions mate. Regarding the terrain, most of the complainers come from Blighty! They live in the darned country! I can't see what is so difficult about understanding that. People who have never flown over England, or who have an opinion based solely around what people have told them, will always have a warped view. Discount those people, focus on those who are experienced and have posted tangible information, supported by pictures or research, and the answer is pretty clear. Polls, in this instance, are completely pointless.

Just my 2P.

Yes, but from day 1 there have been bigger issues with this sim.
Frankly I cannot understand why so much effort has been dedicated to colors.

I think you are saying good points, kalimba. I m happy not to be in luthiers possition, believe me! Like i said before, it will never be possible to sattisfied everybody in this world.
If i was him i would try to listening to the people who live in Britain, like philip.ed is saiying about them complaining, or follow the polls and try to make something in between, to get as much as users a little bit happy. Maybie i m naiv and think that it is so easy to do..

Yeah of course.... and if we let that kind of guys speak in our names we will have to study (kirky) rocket sciences to fly their Spity (but will they solely allow us to clim on the cockpit ?) and dozen of 109 will vanish of the sky just by the blink of their clear blue eyes.

Jajaja... Freedom of speach they said ?

By the way, hving been up there I still maintain that noon over England does not look like a Nrth African country.

Just my 2 cents

Yeah I will be better go back to work on my red haired handlebars mustache btw two cup of tea, isn't it ?

You may be right...But living in England and flying over England could be two very different things...;) Color and tone perception from 1000m above inside a cockpit with plexiglass and reflexions must be altered in some ways...
I have seen videos on Youtube with almost identical terrain as in COD...And some with very very different colors and tone...SO wich one is the reference ?

Salute !

I'm struggling to translate this, but yes, i am all for freedom of speech, but there is usually a good indication as to whose view is right (in this case more correct) and whose view is wrong. it's never black and white, but we can always choose a shade of grey. In this case, black is an option.

EDIT: Kalimba, I agree buddy! You're right. i usually assume most people who live here have flown over England, and thus have a 'fairly' good idea (more so than most, I'd wager...) But having flown over England a number of times, Beta 1 was far more realistic.
