Dont want to rain on your parade guys.......

but its just not happening lol. Games and graphics etc have advanced in the last couple of years. Unless they gave it a complete overhaul.

Just get yourselves a 360 each and then we can all fly :D

What do you mean?

FOZ_1983 12-13-2009 08:48 PM

OVER-G is an old game, it came out when the 360 was first released. To make it work on the PS3, give it an overhaul etc would cost a fair bit. More than it would probably make to be honest. And since its been on the 360 its never been patched (though to be fair theirs not really any major issues with it).

Its an old game is what im trying to say i guess. Unfortunately it probably wont ever be released on the PS3 :(

Oh right I get you know. Sorry, I didn't quite understand it XD

Yep, infra-red and heat-seeking are one and the same. About firing only one AIM-54 aka Phoenix at a time, it's not solely semi-active - it switches to its own guidance as it closes on the target. There'll be a little timer reading 'ACT' at the bottom-right of your HUD - when that reaches zero the missile switches to its own guidance and you're free to drop the lock/ fire another. If your target is close enough it may impact before the countdown ends but really in that situation you should be using another missile; AIM-54 is a long-range missile, one of the few in the game, and is best applied in that role.

:D no worries.

Im playing it now on "challenge" mode. Basically a free flight just taking down targets etc to get my XP up.

Flying the F14 tomcat with "edward" (the brit) as my wingman. Packing 2 sidewinders and 6 phoenix long range air to air missiles, also 2 drop tanks so i can fly further and longer :D

just been given clearance from the control tower to take off.......

lets fly!!

That`s too bad...
WELL, it`s a good thing I enjoy all aircraft because I`ll always have BoP (but hey, devs, if you wanna make some of us jet guys happy, make your own version of Over G heheh).

I`ll see you guys in the skies after exams

Raw Kryptonite 12-15-2009 06:11 PM

Are we still planning on playing this tonight?
If so, either be on my FL: Raw Kryptonite
or one of the 2 IL2BOP FL's:

Birds of PreyRS

BirdsofPrey1C

Should be up about 9:30 EST, possibly earlier. First couple of rounds will be short respawn dogfight matches in Arena (air to air only, not attacking ground targets). After a couple of those will move to full length normal Arena matches. If anyone is there that is. LOL

phlux 12-15-2009 06:13 PM

I'm still planning on it.
