Thanks a lot for this update which really did some great thing to the performance when I fly over water. I have an improvement of about 10 to 15 fps on average and max.

Over land the improvement is less important: only 5 fps I'd say. And now I have also won some extra microfreezes that I didn't have before. It is true that in between these microfreezes it runs considerably smoother and also on ground it seems. But I do have noticeable more of these microfreezes than before that are very short (too short to be measured by the fps counter but still very well recognizable).

My system:
Vista 64bit
i7 920
Nvidia GTX 275
6 GB RAM

I think that the path though is well chosen but we are not arrived yet.

NOTA: I never had those severe problems with performance but now the microfreezes are perturbing quite a bit.

I have all on low or medium except the plane model.

A big thank you for your hard work.

Like I said before, looking forward to future content and I will support you, on one condition...take some rest and enjoy your weekend. Me thinks you deserve it.

Better performance with patch, but for me with maxed FX the nice splash effect when the plane crash in water is completely gone now. Not FX at all.
Also I have noticed that over cities buildings appear, disappear and appear again while still in range and not change in the direction of flying, like a bug in LOD distance calculation or something like that.

Keep up the good work.

Hello everybody for me the patch work fine thanks a lot :)

I have tracked down the source of the launcher crash post patch.

Anyone with similar problems navigate to "Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache" and delete all the files except the folder "shaders", then go into the folder "Shaders" and delete all the files in there too.

Spoke too soon, performance is not improved with my rig and micro stutters worse than ever, in line with other ATI HD user observations.

Thank you. Game is running smoother here.

well done, luther and Co.

update worked well for me and the game starts to feel playable. Just played the airfield attack mission with about 30 planes in the air and did a lot of dogfighting over land. almost no stutters (a few exception but way within limits) and an avg. framerate of 30.

I see noticeable improvement compared to the beta patch! :-)

very smooth game, stutters gone.
GPU load now runs at 99% ! :-)

Also CPU load increased.

Very nice patch

Many thanks Luthier and nice week end !

I had this occur when I heavily damaged a Dornier. It may have been there before the patch and I hadn't managed to do this much damage before!

This will be a great game and is well worth the patience needed to let the guys have the time to fix the current issues.
