Not a bean counter. I just love the game and appreciate the faults and the hard work going on to fix them. So I hold off complaining and work with what I have to make it enjoyable for me and others.

You mean the fix for the trees that they broke with the last patch? Quite an accomplishment....groundbreaking even.

I don't have the time to look at the trees or the lack of them, this is combat and decisions.

+1

I find the lack of bushes disturbing how can I concentrate on the spit in front of me at 4000m ;)

We’re virtually done with the move and are back to work. The new iteration of the patch is due next week! Sorry, couldn’t push it out today.
What I want to see is the patch not more of the same old we trying to fix crap. Another week has gone by  I supose this quote/tread will be removed again by the hell hounds who run this show:evil:

You mean another week for the official release ?
I just bought the game yesterday and I absolutely surprise how bad the game was in terms of performance, it's more then a year after it release I thought it would run pretty decent but it was absolutely horrible, but when you not paying much attention on your FPS and concentrating on the battles you still see the game is great, but the voices (radio chat) are horrible too, it there going to be any improvement to it with this patch? I was such a big fan of il-2 since it first released and played all of them, it's just sad seeing that great game in such a poor condition.

Get on ATAG or one of the other populated servers, use team speak and you'll find one of the most immersive WWII Flight sims out there at the moment.

It depends what one expects from the CoD.

If a smoothly running simply controlled game with a lot of shooting then the one would be frustrated and feel deceived.

If the most immersive WWII Fligth sim with a good deal of flight&fight management (and would not mind that its complexity brings some problems with its engine etc.) then the one would be probably pretty happy.
