I also have more microfreezes and stutters than before or at least the same amount. All settings on medium, grass, shadows and roads on. Turning grass and shadows off did not help either. I even get tiny stutters low over the channel.

HD 5870 here. Slight improvement in FPS (average) but stuttering/jerkiness over land is just as bad, maybe worse.

I have the english maddox.dll that I got from the beta patch, I could link it, but I'm not sure it works and I'm not at my computer right now to test it.

I cannot get the launcher to run now, reading the above I swapped out my HD6990 for an older HD 5850 and it still won't run. This was an install over the beta patch, Steam has verified the file integrity with no problems, and already tried deleting the .ini files under "\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover"

Alright guys,

here comes a system log file.

System
QuadCore Intel Core i5-2500K Quad Core OCed to max. 4,2 Ghz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 Video Adapter
8GB RAM
Intel SSD (Win7x64 & Game installed on SSD)

Settings were on medium, with grass disabled, low trees and low buildings, 1920x1080.

CPU load is a bit better, last time Core 1 was at about 50%, cores 1-3 were almost idle. This time, load on core 2 is a bit higher.

As you can clearly see, there is the same problem like in a log that was posted about two weeks ago.
The launcher.exe takes up 100% of the VRAM in a few seconds, the other system components seem a bit bored meanwhile.

Visually, there was little to no improvement. FPS were up a bit, but the stutters remain.

Surprisingly good considering the beta patch gave me at best 1fps more on my test track over London - this has given me 10-15 FPS more :-)

Thanks for your hard work to get it out on Friday and please, please have a nice weekend ;-) There's more than work.....

As I've said previously, the stuttering is worse for me and my CPU is now not even fully using the first core. Thought I'd add a pic.

Game runs much smoother now with the official patch. Heavy stuttering occurs directly after mission has been started, but after that, the game runs fine.

Thank you very much for your work and have a nice weekend :)

It's all a bit random. No better for me at the moment, flying the bombers over London mission (which I keep flying to test fps).

Having worked out how to fix the AMD Clock speed only a couple of hours ago, it's now broken again - back to 500 MGHz max.

EDIT - Managed to force GPU Clock speed to 880MGHz for a flight and got improved fps. Avg 40 fps with max settings. I then proceeded to cause PC to crash with ATI Tray Tools. All I need to do now is work out how to get the GPU Clock to run at full speed without crashing my PC.
