I'm completing all my tutorial missions to unlock Sim mode, and about 5 or 6 missions through, I stop hearing my instructors voice, and I get these subtitles up on screen. I can't read them on my SDTV very well and it's really pissing me off.

I've checked the options menu like 5 times and the subtitles are definitely set to No. Any ideas? I hope it's just something stupid that I'm missing, and not a big problem.

What I have seen is that Spanish subtitles for radio messages are so short and disappear so soon to understand them. They don´t correspond to what is said on radio.

hey thanks good to know it's not something wrong with my game.;)

And yes the SDTV blows, there was a whole discussion about it in a different thread and we ended up concluding I needed to buy a $100 adapter to play my 360 at the HDTV (it's nowhere near my computer), or I'd have to get a new TV for upstairs. Neither do I see happening soon. :(

Go into the store in a panic and just start yelling about how the nazis are gonna win unless they give you a shiny new hd tv...it might work, right..?

Most expensive cable for Xbox is the official HDMI and it is now at 39€ with TOSLink conection and analog output in the same kit.

Wait..... If you have to be near your computer to use a wire for the internet connection, why can't you just use your 360 on your PC's moniter?

I had a go a few days back at playing the 2nd demo mission in sim mode on my old 28 inch SDTV. One word, Imposible. went back to my 22 inch moniter which is infinatly better.

I noticed this too; did the same thing(checked settings) and concluded they either added it last minute or couldn't find the chap that put down the voice overs earlier in the game. lol, just a minor annoyance(unless you own said sdtv; had the same problem with a bunch of games when I first got my 360... until I upgraded my Tv) and if you miss what was said, DON'T PANIC! It will pop up again ten seconds later.

I've got a mac monitor though, not sure if that's compatible with the 360? I'll look into it though.

But... if you want WiFi on your Xbox or Xbox 360, you only need an access point, not a Microsoft Access point, but any one.
I used a Belkin one for 3 years, that I bought on Carrefour by 19€ and, now, I use a D-Link. I works flawlessly and I have 802.11 a/b/g/n with WEP, WPA AES, etc. You only need to buy an access point with Ethernet conection and plug your Xbox there.
