We have see that the steam activation code window does't disappears also if you press shift-tab: for make this follow the instruction find by Heinz of Normanni clan:
"you must go in settings>in-game>raise the pick "Enable Steam Community In-Game"> OK > close and restart steam and XIII Century. It doesn't probably have the right interface to work with Steam services."
