Is there a definitive list of differences between realistic & Sim modes?
I like a realistic flight model but I do like to fly outside sometimes and Sim mode restricts this. Is the Realistic mode full on flight model or does it round off the corners?
An official full comparison between the modes would be useful if it exists?

In realistic the technique is simplified (no flaps etc...) and yeah it rounds the corners. In realistic there's no stabilizer and it looks like the game does it for you. You also have icons, lock, more ammo and fuel in realistic.

All true I believe although I think online some of these things can be turned on/off especially ammo and fuel. Basically I'll be looking to make Realistic as close to Simulation as possible while essentially just keeping the target cam.

I fully agree! I would like to have "sims" mode with just icons of realistic, especially for ground targets!

Is infinite ammunition for sim-mode also in the full game?

Play on realistic with the HUD set to "MINIMAL" this removes the redand yellow arrow indicators and names of planes, but still allows a padlock of enemies. It is MUCH harder than regular realistic but also allows you to tell friend from foe.

Yes. Infinite ammo can be turned on in all modes.

OK, is that including all multi modes?

I think it depends on host.

I think it depends on host.
Next question: you seem to have an inside track on things, which is good, are they going to allow to host to limit the planes, i.e. to a certain period of the war? Having a 262 go toe to toe with a Hurricane I is great conceptually, but all that fabric is gonna get really shredded really fast.
