Well as I'm sure most have already heard but animated themes are coming with the next firmware update to the PS3 ( watch video here http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/08/18/playstation-3-firmware-v3-00-update/).
Spiffyness aside I don't know if we as users can create these themes like the non animated ones, but maybe 1C can help us out here with an animated theme. Maybe there can be a contest for the best mock-up for one or we can just start with ideas for animated themes.
