All, i like many others may have experienced the game freezing mid game. If you leave it in this "Not Responding" state it actually may recover, but i have found the solution to this:
Make sure in Video Options you have ticked "Full Screen".
I had the resolution matching my full screen res (1920x1200), but had failed to tick this.
This seems to have caused my frequent freezes, as with this ticked the problem appears to have gone away.
I'm running a Core i7 rig with a Nvidia GTX 295, with 6 Gig of RAM and Windows 7 RC (64-bit)
PS I must say this game is awesome. The multiplayer is incredible. Please continue to improve the stability of this game, its an all time classic that deserves the effort. Can't quite believe i bought it for 7 pounds sterling on Steam as a weekend offer!
