Runtime Error

Hi There,

My first post on here, sadly it's a technical issue. I've played the game before and come to reinstall it after a 'rebuild' of my PC for one reason or another.

When i run the game, either as it's retail version or patched to 1.7 i get an error message as follows:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program X:\Games\King's Bounty\kb.exe

R6034
An Application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

If i click ok, i get the Windows XP error noise and the error again, then click ok again and it goes away but doesn't load the game.

So ill email too, but i was wondering if anyone knew what this meant. It's been working ine previously and im guessing it's something i've installed on my machine that's causing it to conflict...


System Info:

Windows XP 32bit running SP3
4GB memory
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400@2.66 Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT 1024mb Graphics card
Creative Audigy Fatality X-Fi Audio
