Buggy quests, Frog and Griffen

After the patch (1.7 build 35.234) the quests Aritridis Rescue and Rescue the Frogs is bugged (might be more, wont know until later). I got the griffen egg, but when I return to the Griffen, it ask if I got it and I only get the option "no".
With the frog quest I got the cage of frogs and gave them to the frog in the swamp, but it didn't complete the quest, she/it kept asking if I found the frogs.

Where did you buy our game?

I bought it over Steam. Had the steam patch problem before (crash to desktop when going to the island), the new (old) patch fixed that but now I can't complete these quests.
Might be more quest broken, I know one with a pirate inside a castle in a mine, which I attacked and he is still there and it seem I can attack him again. Good exp and gold, but still an exploite.

It seems that after the recent patch many quests bacame unfinishable. I will create the thread where all buggy quest will be listed, please update it if you find any. I'll send it to the devs and they will find the solution.

It changes, as critical bugs appeared to be.

Okay, here is my savegame. Haven't played that much since then, so haven't found more buggy quests since then.

Just found another buggy quest, one which I didn't start until now. Its the one called "Cursed Treasure", where you get a map, go into a cave, battle mob, find chest, battle mob and find a artifact and gold. When I return to Bob Davis, I cant complete the quest.. "Still havent found the treasure"

For curiosity I load your save and tried quickly do the cursed treasure quest. I have the bug like you explain.

I'm using a retail version updated to same version than you. Just curious have you start the game with the patched version or with the original Steam?

Myself I never saw this bug but my original version was a retail.

I got steam version and its updated to the latest version (which apparently is the problem, it breaks stuff)

Yes probably but my game version is good, original retail version, no cd crack, original update to 1.7.

So the savegame you provided is also corrupted. It could have been corrupted by starting the game with a steam buggy version but patching it as you did and then only start the game could have fix it for you. Ok few chance, just my 2 cents. :)

Yes I have seen:
-- the pirate treasure bug jsut mentioned
-- tree of life and orcs can't complete
--Conquest of the town in side the dwarven mining area (starts with a C)

The tree of life one failing is a killer since multiple questions depend on tree of life.
I am steam v1.7
