Hey guys, need some help to play via LAN.
Is there any step by step tutorial to set up lan play.
It is not clear how to set up lan server and how to join the server.
Condition: No interent, only connected 2 pc via cross utp cable. or more than 2 pc via lan using switch.

Hi
Assuming you know how to start the mission Server/host IL2 PC
Joining via lan or IP.
Start IL2 > Multiplay > join server > enter ip and port or server/host PC.
Example of the ports and ip's
Server/host uses
port 21000
ip 192.168.x.xx1
Client uses
port 21001
ip 192.168.x.xx2

Hi
Start IL2 > Multiplay > join server > enter ip and port or server/host PC.
Example of the ports and ip's
Server/host uses
port 21000
ip 192.168.x.xx1
Client uses
port 21001
ip 192.168.x.xx2
As I anderstand I should enter in join server as server ip:server port from client. which is "129.69.180.60:21001"
Is it right in this case:
server: ip 129.69.180.60 port 21000
client: ip 129.69.180.61 port 21001
or I could write in the join server from client like
"129.69.180.60:21001"
"129.69.180.60:21000"
"129.69.180.61:21001"
"129.69.180.61:21000"
I've tried this one "129.69.180.60:21000" but it was not working on the client pc's join server window. The client pc had same port with server 21000.
which one is correct input?

Connecting via Lan you need the internal IP of the server these are always usually 192.168.x.xxx (x being variable numbers)
Using direct cable connection you need to assign each PC with an internal ip address.
Find you internal IP's on both PC by going to:
Start>Run>CMD>ipconfig /all
This should show you the internal ip's assigned to each PC.
You can start the client IL2 1946
Multiplay>Join Server>Search local Servers>Enter the port.
Simply entering the port alone the client IL21946 will scan for the hosted port.
In the search local servers bar you can try different ports there 21001 21000 etc to find the server.

:) It must be 192.xxx.xxx.xxx:21000 - Firewall(s)must let 21000 UDP protocol through.
Start the server game on the host PC by Multiplay - Create New Server
Then start the game on the client PC(s) and do a Multiplay - Join Server - Search for Local Servers or enter the host PC IP:21000 in the Server Address field.
When playing coops WAIT until all pilots are in their planes before starting the game at the host PC.
