I met Eric at his home and he is a great story-teller. The picture in this article is one I took. I'm considering popping round with my video camera and doing an interview, would there be any interest in it though?
Let me know, cheers, MP.

Nice article MP. Nice read.
Interesting are some of his comments regarding how different countries view their war heros too.

Stirring stuff MP, thanks for that. Go for the interview if he's up for it, I'm sure it would be worth watching.

Interview done. 2-hours, and all of it talking!! Needs to be edited, but I'll try and get it done by the end of the week!
Only problem was my tie-clip microphone broke, so I had to use an older one, and it looks, well to be honest, crap on his collar :(
But Eric was a true story-teller, although not too forth-coming about combat.
Will hopefully be able to put it all on Google Video (using Picasa?), but I'd rather do that than split it down into 12-parts for Youtube.
Cheers, MP.
