Then say something 'unofficial', if you can. You clearly know more than anyone else here does. I think anyone who is still hanging around here waiting, and who supported this promising but woefully under-tested game by buying it on release, deserves better than that 'official' bullshit. No offence.

If the game had just been dropped, that's fine; I'll know I needn't check back here any more. A black mark against 1C who usually provide pretty decent customer service, yes, but it would be foolish to pretend most other publisher/developers haven't been guilty of the same thing at one time or another. I'll just wait a while before buying in future.

Is it really that fr*gging difficult to fix things that must have worked in the Russian version?

I can only say, that there are plans to fix these issues, but when it will be done I do not know.

if people have to pay for a exapansion for a game with so many bugs ...
then, a patch is really a critic point before any expansion.. no?

the you should kill the game and give everyone a refund for wasting our time and money on a game that has soo many bugs and you keep leaving us in the dust with no info on when and if there is ever gonna be a patch.
been released here in u.s.a. for 2 months now :(:confused:

Lo dicho, me parece una falta de respeto lo que hace esta "gente", a la que les pagas por un producto sin terminar, que tienen la poca vergüenza de ponerlo en venta y además son incapaces de dar la cara ante la gente que le paga para que pongan el pan en la mesa de su casa... !compórtense como es debido y si no, no pongan en venta estas "chapuzas"!. Que la gente se ilusiona y jugar con la ilusión y el dinero de las personas es de "gente" sin escrúpulos.

Y pongo el post en español porque es mi idioma nativo y, como la mayoría de los post de este foro, pasará desapercibido.
Además, si esta "gente" son incapaces de portar un juego del ruso al inglés, ¿para que esforzarme yo?

ahh ok ok... so "thy" full game should work in english ("thy" official language)...

It's painfully obvious now that there will be no patch. I just wish someone from 1C would be kind enough to turn up and actually say so. Piss-poor customer service from developer and publisher alike.

You mean they are not in 3d? AFAIK, clouds became 3d in Factor K addon.
There are may be small 3d clouds in Tomorrow War, but they can be seen only when player is under the big cloud texture. Then the cloud texture disappears and there may be random small clouds (seen them in Naotar in Russian version yesterday).

I wouold be delighted to do so (along with others) but what about international shipping? getting homeplanet gold was a real nightmare because of this, and I have yet to get red shark 2 also (not to mention precursors if the english release gets canned)...

Yes, I know! at least once playing with fire will be translated too, that will be great... I'm the one trying to see it becomes completed one day...
In case you don't know it, I'm broadwing from elite games.ru , On the other hand, I certainly didn't know you were involved with 1C...

As for factor K, those are excellent news... I'll try to get my hands on physical copies too however, but this might prove a nice way around...

Also, I was thinking, since 1C proposed a long time ago a helicopter title called red shark, does the russia 1C store propose red shark 2 as a digital purchase? that might help me even more...

To my knowledge, k-factor release is not scheduled because of problems with Tomorrow War and no developers to fix them. If you like the game, i suggest complete it first ;) (it should be possible with the fix) and if you really want the factor k, you can buy the Russian version online, like many people are buying Russian version of RigNRoll right now prior to international release.
Here (http://www.1conline.ru/games/game/3771149/index.php) it is in 1C Russian online store, 200 roubles are less than $7. Clouds are really georgeous :)

OK i´m thinking on buying k-factor, but i have some questions:

- russian k-factor is compatible with european tomorrow war (TM in advance)?

- if i install rusian k-factor over european TM the english text could be dissapear? (I mean loose the traduction in TM)

- will k-factor address the most bugs that tomorrow war has? i mean, will i play TM with clouds an no bugs.

- if k-factor address the bugs, do we need to install your fix patch for TM?

P.S: for my it,s difficult to buy something on a russian store, because me russian level is 0 :) is there any other site or store in english?

About K-Factor - it is standalone game. It have nothing to do with original TM.

To fix TM bugs you need to use hot fix patch for TM.

Yes, Factor K is stand-alone. I've played through it a couple of years ago and don't remember any game-breaking bugs. It's story takes place after the original TW after the Earth-Concordia war, main hero continues his work for secret service during the conflict with Yagnu aliens, if i'm not mistaken, encountering gigantic space installations on the way. Of course, all the text including story is in Russian, but me and other Russian-speaking members may help to describe what's going on before each mission. Flight interface is the same as in TW, though you'll need to perform a water landing, for example, and engage LARGE ground targets using cluster bombs. The game itself is shorter than TW, since it's a stand-alone addon.

If you are serious about buying Russian version of Factor K online, post here. I'll see what can be done, maybe make the tutorial describing what to click in the store and where. I don't think its wise to mess with your credit card stuff in a language you don't understand, so your best bet may be using WebMoney service to pay. Visit its English site (http://www.wmtransfer.com/) to decide whether you are willing to use their services to pay at 1C online (unfortunately, other payment methods are credit card or Russia-only). Overall, some English-speaking fans bought the Russian RigNRoll this way and play it right now (i don't know which payment option they chose though).

I'll just have to purchase a retail copy of red shark 2 somewhere (I saw some on the IDDK studios market: it is still there)...

I'll simply need to find someone capable of shipping it to me...

Also, regarding the translations you are offering for factor K, Do you think it'll be possible in the future to see an unofficial patch capable of replacing the russian text with english text (a bit like the TW patch regarding the in flight chatter, etc...)? Even if voices stay russian, this would be a superb achievement...

I didn't offer to translate game texts in Factor K, it's a big amount of work usually being done by a dedicated team. Me or anyone else who knows Russian can just describe what's happening in each mission and between them so you'd know what to do (i think that most things will be clear without exlanation). Maybe i will be able to use some text labels like weapons, ship names and such from TW to make a small fix for Factor K and maybe not (we don't have any tools for it).
